Our Policy & Why It Matters
After years of working in the health and wellness industry, we have experienced firsthand the financial challenges of being self-employed yoga teachers and the toll financial instability can take on our mental, emotional, and physical health.
Generally speaking, health and wellness professionals in Ireland are overworked and underpaid. At The ReWild Studio, we believe that teachers and facilitators should be fairly compensated for their work, and it is our utmost priority to make this the rule rather than the exception.
We are a new studio, facing the expected challenges of opening our doors in a small town in rural Kerry. We have a long road ahead, and to stay in business, we need your cooperation.
For us, every student is important. In a tight-knit community, everyone is our friend. Making exceptions for one person dishonours the request of another.
The philosophy of yoga is composed of many principles that inspire a fair, respectful, and harmonious society. Two of these are Satya and Asteya.

Satya (Sanskrit: सत्य;) stands for Truth. As yoga disciples, we strongly feel that it is our responsibility to speak the Truth, even when it defies the status quo and our policy might be regarded as ‘strict’ or ‘unfair’ by some.
Asteya (Sanskrit: अस्तेय;) stands for non-stealing. It might sound harsh, but when you request a refund for something you have already paid, due to a personal issue, you are taking money from someone ready to deliver the service you booked—leaving them uncompensated.
We understand that money doesn’t grow on trees, that life is unpredictable, and that things happen. That’s why we offer:
• 12-hour cancellation window for all our classes
• 2 to 6-month expiry on class passes
• No expiry date on gift cards
This gives you plenty of opportunities to make the most of your investment.
*For workshops, retreats and courses, please note that cancellations and refunds are not possible once your order has been processed. No exceptions.
The following invitation is a stone being cast far and wide in the hope that speaking the truth will cause positive ripples to benefit all businesses:
Instead of requesting a refund, deferral, or exchange, we invite you to consider gifting or selling your ticket to someone who needs it. This way, we can all be truthful and respectful towards one another.
As Maya Angelou once said, "When you know better, you do better."
Thank you for reading and for listening to our Truth.
With humility and gratitude,
The ReWild Studio Team
